"The VRC aims to promote responsible professional practice and ensures compliance by establishing and enforcing the VRC Code of Conduct. The VRC Code of Conduct reflects the core values of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in the work of the registered (certified) controller, providing them with guidance in addressing ethical issues and making responsible decisions in the professional business context.
As a professional association, the VRC encourages its members to uphold integrity and trust in the registered controller by adhering to the Code of Conduct. The Disciplinary Board assesses compliance with the Code of Conduct through the complaint procedure, enabling the VRC to continue promoting integrity among its members and encouraging registered controllers to act responsibly.
If registered controllers encounter an ethical dilemma or behavioral conflict that cannot be resolved within the organization, the VRC ombudsman provides support in addressing the dilemma, in accordance with the VRC Code of Conduct."
